Thermal Performance

Recent Government legislation demands that all windows
and external glazed doors, whether fitted into new or
existing buildings, meet improved thermal retention vlaues.
This is directly linked to the UK Government's commitment
to the Kyoto Agreement and the need to reduce CO2 emissions
resulting from the production and consumption of energy
- the lower the heat loss from buildings - the lower
the consumption of energy, and so on.
Our PVC-U units already have very good thermal properties
- and when combined with thermally efficient glass units
containing low emissivity glass, the whole window will
meet the Government's requirement that windows (and glazed
doors) have a maximum U-value of 2.0 watts/m2 kelvin.
